INSTRUCTORS

Kimmy
My name is Kim Garza and I own and operate The Pole Barn.
I am the instructor for our liquid motion floorwork classes, heels sorcery and choreo classes.
My passion is heelwork and liquid motion which is primarily a floor flow movement. I discovered the pole several years ago and immediately fell in love with everything about it. I am certified in all levels of Liquid Motion including Liquid Heels. I have competed in 4 competitions in the exotic category as well as in 1 competition in the doubles category. I was so honored to have placed each time I performed.
As an instructor and student of the pole, I strive to bring the slower, sensual and intentional side of the pole to my practice. I am excited to continue on this path to teach, learn and grow my love for the pole for as long as my body will allow.
Sandy
Sandy is our level I, level 1 1/2, and level II pole instructor.
Sandy is an amazingly talented pole instructor and student of poles. She continuously takes her craft to the next level by taking certifications and classes offered by professional pole and diverse studio instructors. Her personality is contagious! Come join her on Thursdays to start your pole journey!!
Refer to our app for The Pole Barn for class times and days.

Lina
Lina is our level III, pole conditioning/flexibility and specialty class instructor.
Lina started her pole journey while living in Key West in 2012 when a friend gave her a free pass to a local studio. She bought her home pole 3 months later and dove into her obsession! Since then, Lina has competed and performed in both doubles and individual pole categories. Having taken a year off from 2 pregnancies since 2015, she knows what it feels like to be a beginner 3 times over and tries to keep this in mind when instructing and motivating students. Having worked in clubs in her younger years, she also has a major respect for the profession as a whole and the influences that exotic pole has on contemporary movements. she tries to maintain this respect within her classes, recognizing that everyone comes to this sport from a different perspective and all of them are valid. Her focus is on strength and active flexibility, believing that these are the foundations to gain those show stopping tricks on everyone's bucket list. Come join her on Thursdays to progress your own pole journey!
